The Women Build program is not about excluding men; it’s about including women and challenging them to help build stronger, safe communities in Craven County. We are doing this by providing a female-friendly work site: a new-home locationTBD .
You will find women of all ages, ethnicities, professions, and faiths serving together during the Women Build week. No experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that we share.
